Spring and Summer Exhibits
The Farmington Art Foundation (FAF) has presented two large exhibits for their membership every spring and summer in the past. Modest entry fees are charged to the exhibiting members to cover expenses for each exhibit. The artwork in each show is accepted with some discretionary criteria employed by the Exhibit Committee. There is a large committee which coordinates this event, allowing for numerous opportunities for the membership to volunteer their time to help make it a success.
FAF members can enter artwork in either the open section, juried section, or the unframed section. Work entered into the juried section is critiqued by an external juror. There are first through fourth place and honorable mention awards. Awards for the first through fourth placement are monetary awards and the honorable mention awards are gift certificates donated by local businesses.
The Summer Exhibit was also a members only show and sale of artwork. This exhibit was part of the Farmington Founders Festival and took place in the middle of July. It was a non juried three day event. The Spring and Summer Exhibits were great opportunities to exhibit, sell artwork, and get to know your fellow FAF members.
